SCHOOL ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION
Foundational Stage (NUR – II)
- No Formal Examination from Nursery to Class II.
- Continuous Comprehensive Assessment of the competencies & skills acquired.
- Grading System is followed.
- For promotion to the next class level of skills acquired is taken into consideration.
Preparatory Stage (III – V)
- Session is divided into two term – Term I and II. Each term carries the weightage of 50%.
- Each term is further divided into two units.
- Assessment of the competencies attained is conducted at the end of each unit. Grading system is followed.
- For promotion to the next class, final consolidated frade is taken into consideration.
Middle Stage (VI – VIII)
- Two Terms
- Term I – Pre Mid Term and Mid Term
- Term II – Post Mid Term and Final Exams
- Assessment is done on the basis of performance in
- Periodic Tests
- Subject Enrichment Activities
- Notebook Competition
- Promotion is on the basis of final consolidated result.
Secondary Stage
IX
- Annual System
- Internal Assessment is done on the basis of performance in ---- Periodic Tests, Subject Enrichment Activities, Notebook Completion, Portfolios, Assignment completion etc.
- Promotion is on the basis of final consolidated result.
XI
- According to CBSE, there will be Annual Examination System:
- Weightage of Dec. Unit Test (Post mid) - 10%
- Half-yearly (Mid Term) – 30%
- Final Exams – 60%
- For promotion to the next class, both final and consolidated results will be taken into consideration.
